Covid-19 cases continue to rise and spread across the country.

Ghana case count rose to 4,012 cases today and Bono Region also recorded its first case yesterday. Ahafo, Bono East and Savannah remain the only regions with no reported cases. Today we map the regional breakdown of cases in Ghana and when cases were first recorded in different parts of the country.

Greater Accra is the epicenter with 85.6% of the cases. 857 out of the 921 new cases recorded between yesterday and today are from Greater Accra indicating that the region's share of total cases is rising.

Despite being one of the earliest regions to record cases, the Northern and Upper West regions have kept their case count relatively low.

Western North having the fifth highest case count despite being one of the last regions to record a case is something to keep an eye on.
